With gardens opening from Wester Hailes to Portobello, Drylaw to Leith, from the city centre to Craigmillar, visitors will be spoilt for choice. The locations of each community garden can be found by exploring the Festival map. Below is a summary of each garden taking part in the Festival. Milton Road Community Gardens – Edinburgh College | 11am-4pm | Drop-in companion planting workshop, and Tasty Tales storytelling with Sheila Kinninmonth and at 12-1pm: launch of Edible Edinburgh Charter for good food for all |
New Caledonian Woodlands – Inverleith | 12pm-4pm | Visit a yurt and Iron Age roundhouse, children’s activities, picnic plus live music from No Strings Attached wind band (at 2pm). |

Ride around the Festival
If you fancy getting on your bike and riding around the Festival venues, you can! In partnership with Sustrans, a volunteer-led ride is taking place starting from the Botanics and is the perfect way to get around the city. Further details can be found on the Sustrans website.
