New in 2018!
We are delighted to start new business partnerships, with Vegware, Peelham and Greencity Whoolefoods Cooperative, who share many of the values that we hold dear and will help the Festival reach a wider audience.
Vegware specialise in compostable foodservice packaging. Their catering disposables are low carbon, made from renewable or recycled materials, and entirely biodegradable.
Peelham Farm produces some of the best local organic meat there is. Our partnership with them fits with our belief that as a society we should eat less meat and only the best.
Greencity Wholefoods Cooperative is a wholesaler of organic, fair trade and local food and drink, based in Glasgow’s vibrant east end. They do not sell any products tested on animals and we only sell goods that are suitable for vegetarians. They supply to a wide range of lovely independent shops across Scotland, the North of England and Northern Ireland.
We firmly believe that the private sector is key to encouraging greater societal well-being, environmental sustainability and social inclusion – core to our purpose – and so we want the Festival to be a way of better connecting positive action by business and the grassroots. If you would like to partner with us, get in touch!
Huge thanks to all our partners who have supported us over the years:
In 2017, thanks also to Stockbridge Library for hosting an exhibition about the Festival, Sarah Fairbrother for her beautiful short documentary & Mel Hindle for filming the Festival for STV.
